First Nations and Indigenous Studies (FNIS) and First Nations and Endangered Languages (FNEL) is home for many outstanding faculty members.
FNEL and FNIS faculty are deeply committed to sharing their knowledge and experience with their students. We work to provide a challenging classroom environment that prepares students for the scholarly and personal demands they will face during their research practicum. As academics and mentors, we are dedicated to instilling in our students an appreciation of rigorous, ethical scholarship and a willingness to apply their learning meaningfully well beyond graduation.
