- On May 27th, join in for a night of virtual laughter and fun hosted by TEMOSEN-THUT (Charles Elliott) from W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip First Nation) at CIRCLE PRESENTS: Laughter is Medicine A Community Comedy Night Fundraiser. Tickets are by donation, and all proceeds will go to support Standing Strong with Sarah Robinson, the Aboriginal Coalition to End Homelessness and Oxygen for India. Sign up here.
- Musqueam and ABCoast Aviation at YVR Airport are working together to provide new employment opportunities for the Musqueam community. They are seeking a young Musqueam artist to create a logo for this new partnership. Deadline to apply is Friday, June 4. Learn more here.
- Check out the UBCO Indigenous Art intensive! This month-long residency gathers students, artists, curators, writers and scholars to engage in contemporary ideas and discourse—a place for new ideas rooted in Indigenous art-making. The event is on until June 17th.
